Why should I drink Blue Spring Living Water?

Blue Spring Living Water is the healthiest water in and local to Alabama - and one of the cleanest water sources in the country.

In general, spring water is the healthiest water you can drink - even better for you if it is local. Blue Spring Living Water has a high pH value and naturally contains beneficial minerals - like magnesium, silica and calcium. Our water is routinely analyzed by two independent scientific laboratories to assure that no harmful chemicals or biological elements are contained in the water. These scientific tests check for the presence of hundreds of harmful chemicals and organic products to assure safety for our consumers. In every test performed (over many years), not one harmful element has ever been discovered in Blue Spring Living Water.

What makes Blue Spring Living Water different than other brands and water sources?

Unlike other bottling companies, we’re transparent about the source of our water. We’re not a water company telling you a story -- the Great Blue Spring is a real place. We want you to know where your water is coming from.

Where is Blue Spring Living Water located?

Blue Spring Living Water headquarters is located on a private family farm in Blountsville, Alabama, which is about 48 miles north of Birmingham. The Great Blue Spring of Alabama (where our water comes from) is also located on the property, along with a small store.

How is Blue Spring Living Water purified if it “spring-to-bottle”?

The first step in the bottling process is the water’s exit through the rock aquifer, which naturally purifies the water. To further assure the highest health standard for water to be consumed by humans, the water is first ozonated and filtered before bottling to remove any possible biological agent or physical micro-particles.

What minerals are in Blue Spring Living Water?

What is the pH of Blue Spring Living Water?

A high pH value is hugely important in drinking water. To maintain good health, an ideal drinking water has a high pH balance. Waters flowing through limestone rich areas, which BSLW does, have -- increasing the alkalinity. They say water that flows through limestone is the healthiest spring water you can drink!

How is Blue Spring Living Water bottled?

Our water is harvested right at the source - The Great Blue Spring of Alabama - where water bubbles through the Earth. From there, we pump the water into a holding tank and then through two separate .5 micron filters. The water then enters an ozone tank for a natural sterilization process, which naturally cleans and disinfects anything that may be in the bottle or cap. This is the most natural way to sterilize water without changing the water structure.
